Codewise Participates in the WEF Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils

This week, on November 3-4, 2019, Codewise’s Executive Chairman and CEO Dr. John Malatesta joined the Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils hosted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

This year’s World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils brought together more than 600 senior government officials, business leaders, and academics to provide forward-looking thought leadership and innovative thinking to address global and regional challenges.

A Better Digital World

Dr. Malatesta took part in multiple discussions and sessions dedicated to some of the most pressing issues the world is facing today – such as digital corruption, sustainability, and unlocking the next wave of economic growth through technology and innovation.

The outcomes of this meeting directly contribute to the program of the WEF Annual Meeting 2020 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, as well as the Forum’s ongoing global initiatives designed to create a more purposeful, inclusive and sustainable world.

Another highlight of the event was the CEO Networking Lunch hosted by the WEF on November 3. This invitation-only meeting gathered global and regional CEOs, who shared their insights and exchanged ideas on a broad range of topics with their peers from around the world.
