Get Started Checklist

When you log in to Voluum for the first time, you will be greeted with the Get Started Checklist on your right. This list serves as an interactive Voluum tracking tutorial.

What is the end goal?

This list aims to help you build a working campaign that can record conversions.

How does it work?

The contents of this list adapt to your business case based on the answers from the initial questionnaire and selected pricing plan, but in its maximal scope, it contains four modules:

• Account—This is where you can set up custom domains, invite additional users, and assign workspaces. You should start with setting up custom domains (if you plan to use them) before setting up tracking, as domains affect tracking links.
• Basic–This is where you set up tracking with a preferred method using traffic sources of your choice.
  • Some traffic sources were already added to your account based on the answers to the query.
  • You can add different campaign types: QuickStart, Simple, and Advanced
• Advanced–This is where you can set up custom conversion or pass conversion data back to a traffic source
• Resources–This module contains answers to the most popular questions a beginning user might have

When you click on an element in each module, you will receive an explanation and be directed to the appropriate place in Voluum. Once you complete a step, you can check it off. Note that some elements are checked off automatically upon completion, but you can still go to the place in Voluum where they were pointed.

How can I access it?

The list will always be available via the button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It will be closed automatically once you register your first conversion.
